Hi There. Fellow sufferer since very early teens and now heading close to 40.
I'm looking for some techniques for my specific situation that you may have found to help.
I am fine as long as either in a cubical and it also has a lock/the door closes nice and tight... or no one is in the urinal area with me. The odd thing is as soon as someone turns up I can't go and then the moment they leave then I'm OK. I don't think I feel anxious but maybe I do.
Anything you think may help would be great. I've got a stag do coming up in the next few months could really do with some help
Me again, I've just read about holding your breath and am going to give this a go too.
Is it better to wait till your busting or is it better to be half and half if you know what I mean?? Also the waiting tech' doesnt work if you're ina busy pub or club as it's rammed all night

the main tip is to do some de-sensing of your own, ie practicing. Basically tank up and visit as many WCs as you can (busier the berrer in your case) and use the cubicles. When you go, block the flow, leave the WC and come back again in a few minutes. This will enable you to get more practice in in a shorter amount of time.
When you are more comfortable, go in 30 seconds behind someone (time this however you feel is best for you).
No matter what you do though, nothing will improve your shy baldder more than a weekend workshop (held in London or Manchester). Read some of the reviews!
If you think you may get into trouble on the stag night (like I did on Saturday night just gone) then you may want to consider using catheters. As daunting as it may sound, I can assure you its not. Please read these two topics for more info. I will stress that catheters are not cures, they just reduce anxiety and enable you to have a good time! Alot of people report not needing them as they know they are with them so have a failsafe if they cant pee normally.
Mark's right. A workshop is the best thing you can do. In the meantime, start desensing. Read up hoe to go about it on the main site and take things slowly.
