I would just like to add that many people who sit on the fence about going on these workshops may believe that their particular case must surely be "worse" than other people's. I know I certainly felt like that before attending, but I was very quickly put at my ease after I arrived and the course got going. I was very nervous too and nearly ducked out a couple of times. I can only urge anyone reading this to bite the bullet no matter how bad they may think their case is.
I'd like to thank everyone else on the course who helped me. My fellow attendees and the extremely charitable and knowledgeable course organisers have helped immensely with getting me over the first hurdle and removing the stigma of paruresis. I feel like I know what I need to do now and I'm much more confident that I'll be able to do it.
Best of luck to everyone with regards to their own progress, and I hope to see you at a future workshop sometime.
Take care,
Liam111
