Sorry Dan about nobody answering your question but I guess that's the nature of this forum.I don't live in your area so I can't help you on that ,all I can tell you is what I did.First go and see your GP and ask to be instructed in the use of self use catheters.The GP will probably try to dissuade you as understandably there is always a slight risk of infection when using so you have to be aware of this.I made the GP aware that I still wanted to cath so he referred me to the hospital where a nurse instructed me how to carry on,don't be embarrassed they've seen it all before.She then gave me some catheters to try at home and said if I was happy about using them to go back to my GP and he would order on prescription,which he did.I use the disposable Flocath ones with the saline lubrication built in.
