Hi John Certainly don't give up your job! In the UK, catheters are one-time use only, lubricated and disposable. You will find a catheter easy and quick to use. Once your subconscious realises that you can empty your bladder at will using a catheter, a lot of anxiety will go away. You may find you dont need to go to the loo so often, and you may even find that you can pee on the plane. Incidentally coffee is a strong diuretic - you could try not drinking coffee before or during a flight. Andrew
