I am 30 years old and having suffered from shy bladder for as long as I can remember always assumed that I would grow out of this condition. Looking at some of the posts and information on this website it appears that this will not happen. My question is therefore do these workshops really help and are they aimed at any age group? I can not use any urinals when others are around although as soon as everyone leaves I can go with no problems. This causes no end of problems when out for a night in busy pubs/clubs. In addition I often struggle in cubicles if others are around - a position where I have been thrown out of a pub in the past as it was assumed I was doing something illegal in a cubicle rather than simply trying to empty my bladder.
