I was reading on the internet that a survey shows that it is mostly men that get Paruresis. If women had toilets similar to guys, I guarantee the women would probably get it worse than the guys. The women never have open style toilets, and never have to do it stood up either. I was under the impression as a youngster that standing up was easier, but all in all I would say it is harder.
