Two quick points; i suspect in Malta you drink a lot of coffee? if you do, try going without: it really does make you need to pee when there is little liquid to get rid of.
Secondly: a feeling of the need to pee can be just that: a feeling but not a real need. it is the fear it generates that causes the feeling to grow. On a day off work, experiment with drinking a litre of water, and then waiting and monitoring what it feels like. try to gauge it on a scale of 1 - 10 where 1 is empty and 10 is bursting. I think you will be surprised how long it takes, after the first twinge arises (i.e. say 2 or 3 on the scale) , for you to reach level 7-8 i.e. a strong but comfortable need to pee. Most guys find they can comfortably last an hour or two.
