And an other success for the association UKPT. Thank you so much to Andrew and Colin. Thank you as well to Ian, Pete, James and Roman, who help to make this a great week end as well.
Let’s rewind a bit, few months ago, when I attended the beginners’ workshop in October 07. After 2 days, I found out that:
- I was not alone with AP
- AP was curable (what?)
The progress I made during that week end convinced me that I had the technique to cure myself on my own.
Yes, of course we were told to attend the improvers’ workshop but what for? What more? I just needed to work on it myself, I thought. Easy.
Few months later, a little reminder from the association, they know it is time for me to go back and I don’t: I have got so much to do and so little week ends available ☺. I lost control on my priorities. I hesitate.
“Ok Ok, I will attend the one in July.” I told myself. “I will see. May be it will be beneficial after all”.
Here we are, Friday the 18th of July. Strange but I am quite excited about attending this workshop. I enter the room. I recognize faces, there are new ones as well. We are all relaxed: we’ve been here before. Let’s the game begins ☺ I start where I left last time: using the cubicles only.
Even if the workshop structure is very identical it feels like it is all new: this time, we are the players! The workshop is just amazing. The penny drops: the first workshop was an eye opener, this time is the real workshop and it pays off: I have left friends tonight (we have helped each other, laugh together for the last two days) and, on my way back home, I used the urinal successfully in a busy London superstore!...
Oh yes, I have still got a lot to do but hey, what a start ☺ (a smiley face on my calendar).
For those who haven’t attended the beginners’ workshop yet, well, give it a try? You have so little to lose in comparison to what you can win.
For those who should attend the improvers’ workshop and hesitate, well, give it a try? What have you got to lose in comparison to a life changing reward that is waiting for you?
Like everything in life, the choice is yours ☺
Well, that’s it for tonight. One thing is sure: I will attend the next workshop.
A bientot
Francois
