Shy bladder help please

Hi there
I'm 24 years old and have probably suffered from this condition since I could remember. It's only since recently its felt like a problem as I'm trying to work out what to do with my career and have considered things like the fire service or navy but this taboo issue is stopping me from applying etc.
If anybody out there could help I would be so grateful as I've noticed over the last couple of years that I try to avoid going to social activities because of this and I just want to be free of this problem!

I think you are in the right site. Please read the experience of many men who are facing the same problem. I told the entire my story into this forum. Andrew in particular helped me a lot. Desensitization is a very efficient method. I've recently asked a close male friend to be my pee-buddy (in short: to accompany me in the toilets) and that resulted also very useful. Remember many men and also women suffer the same symptoms as you. You are young, so I advice you to face the problem with courage and as soon as possible. You could participate in one of the workshops this site organizes. I've never been there because I'm Italian, but if i were in England, I would certainly participate. Many men also have commented their participation to these workshops, and all are enthousiastic about the results.

Hi Dominic, good to hear from you!
Nick has hit the nail right on the head with his post.
The sooner you get support the better because the longer you suffer the more you overthink things and the problem gets further out of hand.
Sign up for the next workshop that is nearest to you, read as many posts on here as you can and take it from there.
Feel free and unembarrassed to share anything with us on here and someone will get back to you i am sure.

I agree completely with Karl. The sooner the better. I'm available for any advice I can give you. I'm 54 now and I regret not having met this site before! On the other hand, you see, I'm 54 and I succeeded in overcoming most of the problems even at my age! It is neither never too late to begin!
