everyone should check them out...great scientific approach to cause and recovery approach...are you a CBT therapist ???

Hey William, hey Mark, I been helped by CBT but haven't received any formal training. I'm currently taking my diploma in life coaching.

I know I've said this to you directly Mike but kudos for putting these resources online and sharing publicly with other sufferers your approach to tackling the condition and your thoughts. I know I personally picked up one or two things I'd not considered before.

These videos are truly inspirational.
I watched the first two videos a couple of weeks ago and I started to cry, in happiness, from the relief knowing that someone had gone through the same problems as me, and could articulate their recovery and solutions in such a meaningful way.
On the same day I added my first post to this message board, to acknowledge my condition and to start to break the avoidance and secrecy of my problem.
Since then, I have signed up for a workshop, and continued to watch the videos, not to get ahead of myself, but to follow the journey and understand the process of recovery.

There is a lot there that I already do as my own coping methods and as part of my own self-prescribed recovery, but it is clear that I have missed pieces and these videos have pointed out some of the flaws in my recovery and what action to take to understand my condition.

Great work Mike, and as above, kudos for sharing.

Just wanted to echo what has been said and to thank Mike for these amazing videos. I guess a lot of the stuff we know deep inside, but it's so therapeutic to hear someone discuss the issues so eloquently. The videos are well structured as well and the way everything is explained just makes so much sense.

Thanks Mike, these videos are a great help and have inspired me to really make the change. I've been on a workshop and didn't really follow through with it after that. It just always seemed like something too big to tackle and I guess I've always felt that I needed to know a certain timescale for my recovery, which is obviously just daft. The way to think of it is that if I improve at all from where I am now then that's an improvement to my life. Anyway, thanks again for all the time and effort you have out into these.

Hey Graham,

thought I'd have a little peek and see what the response has been to my videos, I get a bit of an ego boost from this hahaha, but seriously though thanks for sharing the appreciation, it makes me realise that all the time I spent on them was worthwhile and that they're making a difference in some ones life.

Thanks to everyone else too. I've been so busy with other projects since I moved into a new career as a web developer (shameless plug), I've kind of left the world of blogging and posting YouTube videos behind for the time being, partly due to time constraints and also partly due to me kind of just wanting to retreat into a sense of anonymity.

So thanks again maybe I'll make some updated versions of the videos in future, and maybe meet some of you at the next Manchester workshop.

Huge thanks too has to go to Andrew and everybody else who moderates this board in their own spare time making all of this possible!
