A good spot for desensing in London

For people who have access to it, the British Library in London is a really great spot for desense sessions. It has numerous toilets, at least 2 on each floor with 3 floors that are easy to walk between but not in an obvious way. Also across the road is St Pancras station which has another 2 free toilets.

We could do with more like this!!! I was there yesterday & was mighty impressed with the facilities . Only problem with going there too often if the security staff at the door as it's not possible to walk in & out with out seeing them, hence probably why service stations work out better in the end. Yep the Station nearby also usually has good facilities but normally a very busy place, however right now the main mens & womans WC's are being re furbed so there is not access & so portable facilities are available further down the parade that are also a pretty good measure.

I've been going with Jonny to the british Library very often and can say that people are popping in and out like yo-yos all day long. it's a meeting point, a cafe, a restaurant as well as a wonderful practice bathroom - oh and a library - so I wouldn't worry about security.

The temporary loos in St pancreas have now been dismantled as the refurbished ones have now opened - they are interesting with super hand dryers coming out of the mirrors - still free and very busy ( which has become quite fun after my amount of desensing - feels a bit like queuing up for a slightly scary ride at the funfair)

That's good Ross, glad you are making use of the facilities as after all that's what they are there for. I really could have done with knowing about that place myself when I was working in & around that area a fair while back now - I must say!

The public ones in the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden are amazingly good. Go in main entrance on Bow Street. They are downstairs.
