Oh to be seventeen again.Hi Thomas read your note and it says you have had Paruresis three years .Now believe it or not this is a very short time for people on this site.Normally I push the practice of self catheterisation forward to other sufferers but in your case because of your young age and relative short time you have suffered I would strongly recommend you consider one of Andrews excellent weekend courses as you should have an excellent chance of beneffiting from it because you should not be too set to in your toilet habits.
