I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and radiotherapy was recommended, but as this involves drinking large quantities of water, with possibly many visits to a very busy hospital toilet, I couldn't face it, and refused the treatment. I didn't think of catheters and they were not offered. I should think the once only type that you use may not be suitable for me, but I think there is something similar, but with a tap on, so that it can be left in place for a number of visits. Your comments would be very welcome. I'm seeing my consultant next week, so I'll see what he has to say.
