If I may add something - I tried myself to do desensing alone to get over the condition as well and I also got very down when I couldn't progress how I wanted. I ended up massively overanalysing things too and this was actually counter-productive in many ways. If you have not been on a workshop, I would really recommend to attend one if you can. Instead of doing things alone, where you have all the time in the world to think (and, as such, over-think) the issue, you approach desensing in an environment where someone vastly experienced (Andrew) is helping to advise you and you're with others in the same boat so you're not isolated. It really, really does help, especially mentally in how you deal with AP.
I hope you feel better soon. I know what a horrible, frustrating and isolating condition this can be.
