I don't have too much problems with Paruresis compared to lets say in the early 2000 times. I haven't actually needed a catheter in a while but have questioned weather it was the anti epilepsy drugs called Carabamazepine contributed to this problem with me or my Anxiety as I am aware of Anxiety. I am no longer on the drugs.
Regarding Breath Holding it is not a good idea in my view as it can cause passing out. I try not to do this ever since I had a brain tumour removed in 2006 because it is known to cause dizziness with me.
The Paruresis problem hasn't entirely gone away pressing on the bladder area several times seem to help it or I have tendencies to switch off the hearing aids as I do it most of time which also helps. I haven't had instant of holding the bladder up to 10 hours like I have done in early 2000. I have been reflecting on many things as I have tendencies to question everything.
My paruresis from the past made me go away from Towns and cities such as fields to release it. Apart from Long distant walking early 2000 time is last time when this was done.
Infact I probley still have the old catheters at home but never needed them. However I had a friend who was doing this because of her medication for depression. It could be a drug side effect too.312
