Hi Jan Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, and thanks Roy for replying to Jan. I agree with Roy that self-catheterisation is a useful insurance for flying. I hope you decide to go and to manage what ever happens. If you find yourself in a difficult situation where it is going to take time to have a pee (say your friend goes to a urinal and you go to the cubicle), you can say that you have a bladder problem and will take some time; no need to go into any details - you can let him think it is a physical problem.
