Hi Andrew,my experience was that I saw a urologist who referred me to a hospital where a nurse instructed me in the use of catheters both inserting them and the hygiene of them,to get the right size etc.She then gave me a bag full of them to take home and use.Any subsequent catheters I get via my GP on prescription.
