Hi Rich Welcome to this safe place to unburden and share. What you describe is something all of us have experienced. I remember a long time ago giving two hitchhikers a lift in France; it turned out they were going to my destination, hours away across barren southern landscape. i.e. no bushes or trees to retire behind - agony! Anyways the good news is that you can work on this and get significantly less affected by it. Read up about graduated desensitisation, and the cognitive side of things as well: its all on our website. And get onto a Beginners workshop asap; tho not till September I'm afraid. Cheers Andrew
