HI Rob, Welcome to the forum, it's not a silly question and one which kept going through my head before I discovered the UKPT several years ago. Have a read of the website / forum and I would throughly recommend attending a beginners course which are normally held in London and Manchester twice a year. The course has not 100% cured me but I can lead a normal life and go anywhere without the fear of my next toilet stop. I used to turn down so many invites to social events / travel over the years for fear of not being able to go for a pee!! Who cares if you use a cubicle and how long you take. You always worry about the time you take but no one ever notices!! You are not alone, there are many people in this country and around the world who all suffer with the same issue. Regards AdamP
