Good point, and I have been in that position a long time ago. I think the difference for me is that this crossing of legs occurred only very occasionally. Anecdotal evidence is that most times people find a way of relieving themselves, but feel embarrasmment at the steps they have to take to do so e.g. going round the back of a pub. However no harm in asking. Any potential candidates would want anonymity to the extent of not giving a name or address. There is a population who have an agarophobic type of fear when away from a toilet, i.e. they will not be able to get to one in time should they need it.
