A real tale of woe and despair from you Mark, everybody who reads it will sympathise with you as they have all been in that situation. The usual reply is to say try to attend a beginners weekend with Andrew & co as it can be really advantageous for you.You may think your too shy to attend, but hey we are all in the same boat and all the people that attend have at one time thought that they were the only person in the world with this condition.Yes there is another option and that is self catheterisation, now I can imagine you sat at your computer in comfort recoiling in horror at the thought of doing that to yourself but cast your mind back to those dark situations you have told us about where you would do anything to relieve the pain and anxiety. The catheter slips into the pocket and with practice it takes only a couple of minutes to start the stream and an empty bladder is guaranteed no matter whats going on outside of the cubical. So try to grasp at life before it passes you by attending one of Andrew's courses and/or visiting your GP to ask about self catheterisation
