Hi everyone, I attended the BW in Feb 09 and a very enjoyable weekend it was too. I wasn't nervous before arriving and after hearing about the other attendees nerves i realised i was in the minority, I just had the feeling there was nothing to be nervous about and i was right. The Structure of the course i thought was fantastic, in fact on the way home I considered how it could be improved but I couldn't think of anyway to do so, the atmosphere was extremly relaxed and informal and I would like to thank Andrew and Steve for their thoughtfullness, i observed that the comfort of the attendees was paramount to the instructors and this among other things made the atmosphere congenial to healing and progressing. The research that had gone into the course was obvious and even though I've had AP for 30 years I learned many things about it. What I've gained personally from the course is no less than a complete change in the way i perceive the condition, I've been able to calm my reaction to fear and the amount of fear generally is deminishing, consequently I've been able to go in situations where I wasn't able to only a few months ago, I'm peeing with the cubical door fully open (havent moved into the urinal yet)and yesterday i was able to give a specimen with the doctor waiting for me! That used to be one of my big things. I'll keep you posted as I progress further. If anyone is thinking of attending but are nervous dont be, its a piece of piss! Andrew and I came to an arrangment regarding the course costs, I am deeply grateful to him and the UKPT for helping in this way. regards to everyone Gary
