The fear is the embarrassment. If there were no embarrassement, there would be no fear. No fear, no problem. I wasn't sure how to spell embarrassment, so looked it up. The definition is interesting. 'To feel or cause to feel confusion or self-consciousness, discomfort, fluster'. Then is says, 'To make difficult, to impede, obstuct, hamper. Could almost be a definition of paruresis.
