The 'territory' idea was particularly interesting. I find that putting a hand on a cubicle wall (being a woman it's the cubicles which pose a difficulty... i am so thankful for not having to deal with urinals!!) that I can physically feel the barrier, and that it helps to define the space as mine (hopefully without picking up too many germs on the way...). It's great that you could get through such a difficult situation though! And it's always comforting to know that other people have difficulties too, we're not alone! >.<
