Having come quite a long way in a short time, my confidence level is now fairly high (I'm not a naturally confident person).
I'm now able to pee in a urinal as long as there is no one else in there and sometimes if there is someone in a cubicle. So I went into my local Debenhams in Exeter full of hope.
It was almost closing time, so the place was empty. There are two urinals and they are rather close to each other. I went to the one nearest the wall as it felt less exposed, but there was something about the size of the room that made me nervous. I couldn't really understand this as I've been in similar sized facilities but it felt too open somehow.
Although I stood there for some time, I just could not relax and eventually went into a cubicle where, of course, I was able to go immediately.
I don't feel discouraged by this experience but it has shown me something I need to work on ie large spaces.
Anyone had similar experiences?
I'd really like to get to a busy public loo, eg in a shopping mall, as I think this would be really good experience but unfortunately these are in rather short supply in Devon!
Cheers for now,
