I think this behavior is disgraceful and must not be tolerated. You should write to the club owner explaining what happened and insist on confirmation that such intrusion of privacy will not occurr again. You should copy your letter to your council alcohol licensing body. (usually your town council). They will keep on their file all complaints about licensed premises and will consider these when an application to renew the license is received. Nothing scares the operators of nightclubs more than the fear that the license will be revoked. Put the wind up them!!!! Oh and by the way tell them how your evening was ruined by the yobs they employ. Demand your entrance fee back as a minimum.
