I think NLP is a good approach to take to resolving paruresis.
As Andrew says though, be careful who you choose for this. Ideally you want someone who has had success with clients to date.
My NLP guy was going by research and hard as he tried he had no frame of reference so it didn't work in the end. I'm still open to NLP (and anything else!) but looking carefully for someone who has experienced paruresis clients before.
I've found this site to be a great resource too as it's unlikely you'd get an AP NLP reference from "the street"!
Also considering the Manchester workshop in September. Everyone seems to rave about them.
