Hi All, Just wanted to post a bit of feedback on the Manchester workshop earlier this month. Looking through other posts on the forum it seems my experience of AP is pretty similar to most; many years struggling with using urinals and toilets in public places and believing I was the only person suffering with it. I'm not sure what made me decide to finally attend the workshop (I had found the site several years ago), but having completed the weekend, I'm really happy I did. I would never have believed the progress I made! I was a little anxious before arriving and meeting everyone, but the workshop leaders quickly put us at ease, and simply meeting some other people with the same experience built my confidence. The weekend is well structured and you go at a pace you are comfortable with. Coming away afterwards I feel more positive about dealing with this than I have in 20 years. For anyone out there considering this I can't recommend it strongly enough - go for it I think you'll be happy you did!
Re: Feedback from Manchester Workshop September 2017
Well done David! Keep up the good work. I'll add to this that the leaders monitor our anxiety levels as we go along and if those levels are up then they have a chat with us individually to see if they can help. Personally, the fact that i was asked about my anxiety was a help in itself.
