Hi, I'm new to site and looking for help with SBS. How do I sign up for the London workshop please?
I'm desperate for help as I keep missing out on so much! I was on my way to France (trip all paid for!) and had a bad experience on the way, freaked out, knocked my confidence to pieces and came home. I'm 27 and have been aware of the problem since I was 11. I was bullied through high school for using a cubicle and developed other social problems as a result. I currently attend group therapy weekly for social phobia, which has been a great help but not with SBS.
Having read through the success stories and other posts I feel this the place to be!

Hi,
About 6 years ago, I had trouble going at home when my girlfriend came over for the first time, despite going upstairs! Before discovering this site, I managed to get myself to a moderate SBS level: ie I could go anywhere if I was in a cubicle and on my own, but would not be able to go round friends houses or if out with a group. I had never used a urinal in my life!
After reading through the forum and attending a beginners workshop, I was filled with a completely new mindset and saw this problem as something that I can beat for good. My anxiety was significantly reduced and I was then able to use urinals in large, open and noisy toilets.
Admitidely I didnt keep up my 'practice' so to speak, but the 2nd workshop got be back on track and and I improved once again. I can now go round friends houses and I was then finally able to say to myself "I now have my life back and never need to worry about this thing again!"
My life is so so hectic so I dont ever de-sense any more, but I dont need to. If I wanted to rid this thing and use urinals any time, any where, I have all the knowledge I need to do so thanks to the workshops.
So in answer to your question - no Im not completely cured, but I never worry about it any more and know that I can beat it if I had to. My work, money problems, wife and baby take priority!
