I looked at a few of the video clips that are accessed from this link and found them quite interesting. The young man doing the talking seems to make a good case and I certainly thought he made sense when talking about mental attitude, but wonder about the tapping and EMF business that he proposes. Is this mumbo-jumbo or is there something in it? Does anyone have any direct experience? It would be interesting to get people's reaction.
EFT claims that the tapping on supposed meridian points unblocks the flow of energy or chi. There are cases of phobias being cured by EFT but this is probably more about distraction, focused attention and placebo rather than anything to do with the flow of chi. A controlled study showed that students with anxiety problems improved with the application of EFT but also responded similarly when they tapped on random points (not the so called meridian points) or tapped on the meridian points of a doll. The study concluded that while EFT can help anxiety problems it is nothing to do with meridian points and I am certain that the soul doesnt enter into it. Not saying it isnt worth trying. Different therapies work better for some than others but personally I would opt for an evidence based approach like CBT (which this website is based around). I didn't do the workshop but treated myself with a CBT approach and have seen a massive improvement.
