Ive been in a waiting list for cbt to see if it helps with this condition! Waited a year to get onto it and finally started a month back or so but have failed to turn up the last 2 appointments, therefore been discharged from the clinic is this a bad move on my part? Has ne 1 been through this treatment on the nhs and has it helped? Dont know if i should get back onto it again, thanks,jack

CBT is the recommended approach for paruresis, and is the basis for what we do on the workshops. So yes, it was a bad move on your part, and if you can get back on, you should do so.
BTW it is not a quick fix, more a means of making steady gradual improvement.
