Just got back from a few days away. Spent 4 days in North Wales then drove up to Scotland to see our daughter. Was interesting to experience a great range of different toilets over a fairly short period of time.
I was most nervous about how I was going to manage on a five hour gorge walking trip wearing a wet suit . Apparently, you just go in your suit!!. As it turned out, we could only do a short part of the gorge as the river was too high, so the need didn't occur.
All the motorway services we used were about the same, offering rows of undivided urinals. I did ok here as long as they were fairly empty. The best loo was a pub on the east coast of Scotland. There were two urinals on opposite walls, each with a wall on one side and either a cubicle divider or a full divider then a basin on the other. The worst was also a pub. There were three urinals crammed into not really enough space for two, so you would be literally touching the next guys shoulder . Fortunately there was no one around, so I was able to go ok.
All good experience.
Cheers for now,
Geoff.

Hi Geoff Great to see you are making the most of the experiences you gained at the workshop. I guess a five-hour trip stopping at service stations would have been a bit daunting a short while ago, so it is brilliant that you can now go so easily to see your daughter and expand your horizons. Do keep letting us know how your life is changing now the AP is fading away. Colin

Hi Mate,
Glad to hear it all went well, and well done for trying each time!
Iv just got back from 2 weeks in Florida, doing 12 hour days at the theme parks in 35 degree heat! You'd be suprised how long you dont need the loo for when you dont think about it! (Think I went 10-11 hours with lots of drinking then suddenly thought "oh, iv not been all day!") So your gorge walking trip would have been fine hehehe
What I found was I got a bit of anxiety as every wc out there was different so didnt know what to expect (although out of about 10 wcs I used, all urinals had dividers). I decided that Id try the urinals but not expect to go, then ended up having to use the cubicles every time im afraid. I didnt want to hang round too long at the urinals incase I couldnt go, I really didnt want to upset my honeymoon so played it safe. Got all my life to practice
As for you though, in the same boat as me, kept at it and perservered!
