Heya I'm just posting on here about an incident that happened in a local pub the other night, I went in to the toilets (used the cubicle) to have a pee, I came out and the landlord accused me of doing drugs because I used the cubicle instead of the urinal n took me outside where I had to painfully explain to him the reasons for using the cubicle n he did eventually let me back in even though I'm probs not going there again, but has anybody else had an experience like that, apparently somebody said that they saw me snorting coke which was a complete lie as im completely against drugs

HI Dan
What happened to you is unusual, which is why you are unlikely to get a reply to your question. Aside from that, well done for standing up for yourself. You say you probs wont go back there, but think again.
From the publican's point of view, he had a real problem to deal with; OK it was based on somebody making a false claim against you, but he was not to know that. He was after you for drugs, not for peeing in a cubicle. So you might feel that to emphasise your innocence, you should go back there! And pee in a cubicle again.
But I do realise that this does depend on how he reacted once you persuaded him that you weren't there for drugs. If he said "oh is that all", then OK; but if he sneered at you, then go elsewhe; life is to enjoy, after all. cheers Andrew
