Thank you for a wonderful website which often comforts me to know that I'm not alone with suffering from this anxiety disorder. I too am happy at the news that you are thinking of holding a workshop in London and would love to attend a beginners workshop to meet other sufferers in person.

Hi I’m a 24 year old girl, who has had this problem for many years now. I don’t go out clubbing anymore with friends as this has caused somewhat of a real problem. most of the time, I have to leave a pub/ club/ restaurant to find somewhere quiet to pee...yes even if that means a bush. I was thinking of buying one of these travel toilets but I don’t think that will work. I have been to my doctors who just made me feel like I was crazy so I never went back again. Please can you let me know when the next workshop in London will be?
Well J, the first thing to say is you are not crazy, and any doctor who makes you feel that way should be ashamed, both of their inhumanity and lack of knowledge of AP. Andrew will no doubt contact you shortly with details of the next workshop, and send you a UKPT pamphlet which you can show to your doctor. Each doctor I have shown the pamphlet to has taken a keen interest in the information. The most important thing is that you have read the vast amount of useful information available to you on this website, and made a committment to attend a workshop. I feel sure you are now on the brink of taming this and gaining your life back. Good luck. Colin
