Long Distance Flying

Hi Just to say I finally went on my flight to America which I have been dreading and thinking about nearly everyday since it was booked 18months ago and it was absolutely fine I had no problems at all we had booked seats at the back of the plane and there were 6 toilets 3 either side of us and they never got very busy as most people went to the ones further down near the middle of the plane so for the first time on a flight I relaxed and took advantage of the free drinks which I normally pass up so I don't need the loo so anyone worrying about flying I would recommend maybe booking seats at the rear of the plane as you can keep popping to the loo without anyone noticing and you don't have to worry about keep passing people.
We went to Disney world and I don't know if their toilets are the same as most American toilets but I didn't like them and did struggle on occasions there as the doors have big gaps down the side so you can see the people washing their hands and they can see you if they really wanted to stand and stare. And they had massive gaps underneath the doors so if you stood queuing directly in front of a cubicle you could see most of their lower legs which I didn't like.
But overall a very good holiday with only a couple of real problem moments but because there are literally thousands of toilets in Disney World a quiet loo was never far away.

Glad to hear that you were fine on the flight, I am going in 4 weeks time to Florida, and you have eased my mind somewhat, because I am dreading the flight!

Hi Michelle i flew to Florida and i was at the back of the plane and i had the worst flight ever couldnt relax at all even thoe what you say is true the toilets at the back are more empty at times but i kept going in and out of them which put more pressure on me to go and of course never actualy going talk about panic.The air hostess was looking at me strange.I even told her i had trouble going but she wasnt any help mind you they cant help us can they only offer us drinks which throws fuel on the fire as for the toilets in U.S i think they are terrible for us AP sufferers many thanks Michael C.
