The first benefit of this workshop was immediately evident on the Friday night and that was being able to discuss this problem with people who understand exactly what you're going through. I'm 41 and have had AP for as long as I remember and prior to 2 weeks before this course I had spoken to absolutely nobody about it (I had to tell my wife 2 weeks prior otherwise I'd never have got the weekend pass! :-) ).
Through a well defined program over the weekend I was amazed at my progress and I left with a huge sense of relief and an action plan to put into place to ensure I continue to progress! I'll be attending a follow up workshop in the future to ensure I stay on track but for now I feel much better about my AP and I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel!
Big thanks to Andrew for his hard work with UKPT, Jonathon and Ian for doing such a great job leading the workshop and for being so understanding and easy to talk to. Also many thanks to the other attendees who made the whole weekend such a positive experience!
For anyone considering a workshop but not sure about committing all I can say is do it, you won't regret it! Like I said, I'm 41 and have had AP for as long as I remember and I only wish I'd been on this workshop 20+ years ago!
