Hi Mark, From my experience there are always single portaloos at festivals, usually in rows of 20-30 at a time to cope with the potential for large numbers of people, so there's plenty of choice there. Urinals are usually either the communal troughs or those portable-urinal type things with four interconnected receptacles (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/eb/Portable-toilet-Netherlands.jpg/408px-Portable-toilet-Netherlands.jpg) - personally I'm unsure which I'm more comfortable using. Every festival I've been to has had a mixture of the two. I'm going to Glastonbury in a few weeks and I think they're mostly troughs there, which I can be a bit hit and miss with, especially when busy!
