The idea of having to stay in hospital was always my worst nightmare because of this problem but i was recently rushed in and had to stay for a few days.My wife was with me at the time i was admitted and made a point of me telling the doctor that i suffer from AP i'd use the posh word but cant spell it,the doctor seemed a little bit taken a back at first but then was quite reassuring.I was lucky enough to have my own en suite room although i never asked for it and for me it was far far easier than i thought it was going be i even managed to use the bottles that they give you as i had to keep having my fluids monitored.Prior to this episode i have been under going cbt treatment and along with tips off this website found it a great help.I'm still having cbt and things keep improving slowly but surely my wife and i now make a point of going out at least one day a week to different places so as i can get practice in unfamiliar surroundings, slowly but surely things are getting better, yes you do feel hacked off when you fail but it's just a case of try and try again.Stick with it and you'll get there eventually no matter how hard it is at first.
