Hi ive had this problem 'paruresis'as ive just discovered it is called by reading the problem page in the sun newspaper.what a relief after twenty years of suffering to find other people with the same problem,ialso have to urinate when out in public in a locked cubicle,I found that telling all my friends of my problem takes the pressure off and i can pee a bit easier without them thinking why does he always go in the cubicle,to be honest nobody cares why your in there nobody gives a damn!as ive lived with this so long it does get easier you just have to relax and plan ahead (dont use very busy toilets)dont drink on long bus journeys,i hope one day i can sort this out fully as i have a one year old boy who will one day want to pee in public at football matches etc and dont want him growing with the same problem!hope this helps
