Just sharing this program about the human brain on Iplayer until next Tuesday, whilst it doesn't cover shy bladder/paruresis does mention a few features of the brain that gave me some insight into issues faced by sufferers - and the importance of continuing to re-inforce the positive and stay optimistic. One bit featured a guy who was blind in part of his visual cortex who could still see movement with 'blind sight' even though he 'can't see' - another part of the brain is dealing with sudden movements, right in there deep. Is it this that can trigger panic at someone entering and using a nearby urinal? Ultimately the program concludes that we will gain a lot from harnessing the power of our unconscious minds - a reminder to keep on working at it! Cheers for now
