once you've told one person you will find things a lot easier, and then you may find you don't need to tell anyone else. Its like the saying a problem shared is a problem halved. I've only ever told one person (outside workshops and this forum) but since telling her I haven't felt a need to explain or justify myself to others... it is good to have someone around to support but to be honest they didn't think that much of it and hence the support wasn't as forthcoming as I'd hoped - still at least they didn't freak out about it - but yeah it definitely helped when going out to pubs/cinema/wherever
