Roy I also carry catheters on long haul flights and shall when I fly to USA at end of September. As I use Hollister Advanced Catheters I do not need seperate antiseptic as they come ready with it and automatic lubrication. Actually the mere fact that I carry catheters with me usually means I do not have to use them as one is more settled in the mind as one knows that whatever happens you will be able to pee one way or the other. When I flew to USA in January on neither flight did I actually have to use the Catheters. You were unlucky with the restrooms you found in USA, in general I find them much better than here in the UK as usually the USA urinals have good tall dividers.
