Heya, im a 17 year old female, that has paruresis. Ive had it for the last 3 to 4 years and can't pin-point when I first got it. Basically, it just stops me from doing everything I want to do, as my mates are starting to ask me to out to the clubs and stuff, but I cant because of it. Ive been to the doctors twice with it, the first time they told me to keep trying basically, which I have been doing for at least 3 years, and the second time they have put me on some muscle relaxants for my bladder, and they said they will take around 2 to 3 weeks to start working, and it has only been just over a week, but I don't think they are going to work. They also suggested an operation, anyone know about this?
